Rolanda Montenegro, Executive Director
Rolanda has been with STEPS since 2012. She is married to Gerard Montenegro and has three children and three grandchildren. She holds a Professional Certified Coach certificate from the International Coaching Federation. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Regent University in May 2021. She has been in ministry over 20 years and currently pastors Faith Alive Church together with her husband. Rolanda has a passion to see people reach their full potential in life. In her free time, she enjoys music, reading, traveling and spending time with family!

Crissy Schrubb, Program Coordinator
Crissy Schrubb has been with STEPS since March of 2017. She is currently attending Liberty University Online working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling. Crissy has a passion for helping others to overcome adversity so they can live life abundantly. She attends Oakwook Church where she is actively involved in youth ministry. In her free time she loves spending time with family and friends, especially her husband and children.

Ashley Peña, Administrative Assistant
Ashley is a 2017 STEPS Exemplary Graduate and was an intern for 6 months before landing the Administrative Assistant position in March 2018. Ashley holds an Associates’s degree as a medical assistant. She thrives on being a team player and making a difference in other people’s lives. She attends Faith Alive Church and is a leader in the Children’s Ministry. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys music, arts, crafts, and finding new things to create!
