Crissy Schrubb, Executive Director
Crissy Schrubb has been an integral part of STEPS since 2017. She began her journey as an Administrative Assistant and was swiftly promoted to Program Coordinator in 2018. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director. Crissy is married to Corey Schrubb, and together they have five children. Crissy is deeply passionate about helping others overcome adversity to live life abundantly. She has been a long-standing member of Oakwood Church, where she actively participates in youth ministry whenever possible. In her spare time, Crissy enjoys organizing, refurbishing furniture, and spending quality time with her family.

Ashley Peña, Office Manager
Ashley, a 2017 STEPS Exemplary Graduate, began her journey with us as an intern for six months before securing the Administrative Assistant position in March 2018. She now serves as our Office Manager. Ashley holds an Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting and excels as a team player, dedicated to making a positive impact on others’ lives. She is an active member of Faith Alive Church, contributing to the Children’s Ministry and Media Team. In her personal time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, engaging in music, arts, and crafts, and exploring new creative projects.
